A Police man killed in Anantag

Anantnag Terror Attack: A policeman (Head Constable Aashiq Hussain) on Amarnath Yatra security duty was shot dead by suspected terrorists at point-blank range in Lal Chowk, Anantnag. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a massive search operation. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha condemned the attack, vowing that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.

Flood in budgam
Heavy flash floods and a sharp rise in water levels in the Nallah Sukhnag have struck the Beerwah area of Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The raging waters severely damaged local embankments and completely swept away multiple shops and a commercial shopping complex, forcing authorities to evacuate nearby areas.
